Disney Friends Springtime Carnival

45This spring, the resort has launched its largest-ever character-centric springtime celebration, featuring more than 100 characters! From now to May 28, this fun character carnival is bursting with new entertainment, such as a spring parade, a colorful character egg hunt, floral displays, sweet and savory delicacies, limited edition merchandise items and many other springtime experiences! More than 30 Disney Friends can be found in a brand-new Disney Friends Springtime Processional every afternoon along the parade route, led by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale in their finest spring outfits. The popular Disney Character Egg Hunt features close to 100 Disney character eggs waiting to be found all across the park.

An adrenaline rush with Iron Man

6In January 2017, the first Marvel-themed ride in a Disney park opened. Iron Man Experience allows guests to fight against the forces of evil alongside Iron Man across the streets and skies of Hong Kong. Guests will enjoy a 4.5-minute aerial tour of the new Hong Kong Stark Tower. Afterwards, they can have a heroic encounter with Iron Man himself at the Iron Man Tech Showcase – Presented by Stark Industries.

The Expo Shop lets guests choose from a range of 70-plus exclusive Iron Man merchandise items and more than 250 Marvel-themed memorabilia items. Guests can also virtually try on Iron Man’s iconic armor in the interactive game, Become Iron Man at the Expo Shop. According to guest research, Iron Man Experience is now the most popular attraction at the park!

Celebrating the uniqueness of Hong Kong

7Hong Kong Disneyland also launches different themed stickers from time to time, which are fun to collect and serve as good tools to initiate conversations between cast members and guests. From now to October 31, 2017, cast members are distributing a limited edition set of 12 Hong Kong-themed stickers inspired by iconic local landmarks and cultural elements, such as the Tsing Ma Bridge, Victoria Harbour, the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, a traditional “junk” boat, and the city’s famous red taxis. Since sticker distribution has become a unique aspect of Hong Kong Disneyland culture, guests can collect this whole series and let Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto take them on a Hong Kong adventure!

10Then, during a 70-minute return trip to the city center, guests can enjoy the same view they saw with Iron Man when they flew alongside him in the Iron Man Experience.
