Makati City, Philippines, February 3, 2011 – TIM (Total Information Management), a wholly Filipino owned Information Technology (IT) company with nationwide operations, today announced it has joined Dell’s PartnerDirect program as a Dell Certified Partner to continuously cater to the growing needs of the local IT community.

TIM brings to the partnership a well-established track record in the commercial market, particularly the banking sector, which will now benefit from the resources made available to TIM as a Dell Certified Partner. This includes additional expertise  in Dell’s portfolio on enterprise solutions – servers, storage, networking and computing solutions that enable enterprise efficiency.

In addition, Dell Certified Partners can also take advantage of access to demonstration units, field-based account management, and a range of financing options, deal registration and support.

Dell’s PartnerDirect program + is designed to provide companies like TIM with the opportunity to utilize Dell’s enterprise expertise while also helping Dell to expand its footprint.

“One of Dell’s strengths is their enterprise division and with this, we believe that this new partnership will not only help us maintain but also exceed our objective which is to always be ahead.  We also stand firmly that Dell could also give security to our customers as they will provide their latest solutions and products that will lower the risks in our clients’ companies.” TIM president Salvador Aque said.

Through PartnerDirect, Dell is formalizing existing initiatives to help partners like TIM increase profitability and deliver greater value and choice to their customers.

“The partnership between Dell and TIM will mark yet another important addition to Dell’s channel business growth in the Philippines and its impact to the local Philippine industry/business.” said Catherine Lian, Dell Regional Director for South Asia.  “We will continue to support and penetrate the new market segments in the Philippines, which will not only help us further our horizon but also help the Philippines innovate technology.”

In December 2007, Dell launched a dedicated partner online community to broaden conversations about how Dell can best meet the needs of its partners and work with them to simplify information technology for their customers.  The PartnerDirect program is now available in 148 countries with over 60,000 partners worldwide, contributing approximately 24 percent of Dell’s overall commercial business.

Based on feedback from thousands of solution providers, features developed as part of the PartnerDirect program include:

  • Access to a dedicated partner Web site at www.dell.com/partner;
  • Partner logos and guidelines for certain marketing activities;
  • 100-percent dedicated sales and customer care;
