Autodesk, a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, announced the promotion of Rama Tiwari in ASEAN.
Tiwari is responsible for the strategic direction and overall profitability of Autodesk’s business as regional director of sales in ASEAN. A trained lawyer, he joined Autodesk as legal counsel for Asia Pacific in 2006, and he has held various senior roles in both territory and channel sales.
Tiwari was most recently the global director of the Volume Sales and Strategy team at Autodesk’s headquarters in San Francisco. There he spearheaded the successful transformation of the company’s flagship AutoCAD portfolio from a perpetual license-based sales model to a subscription-based business.

“With a decade of Autodesk experience under his belt, Rama will be instrumental in accelerating Autodesk’s growth and expanding our presence in the region as we continue our shift to a subscription-based business model worldwide,” said Patrick Williams, senior vice president, Autodesk Asia Pacific.
Teddy D. Tiu, country manager of Autodesk in the Philippines, will report directly to Tiwari.
