Leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, Autodesk Philippines in collaboration with channel partner Challenge Systems Inc and the Philippine Green Building Council, recently conducted Green Thought Leadership event in the Philippines, highlighting the need to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) to further push sustainable building in the Philippines.

In the recently concluded Green Thought Leadership event, Autodesk Inc. Principal Consultant Chow Jin Ho reiterates that BIM is not just about a software or a process, but more importantly a platform to initialize sustainable building. ā€œAdopting BIM to green (building) is an initiative to build a better ecosystem,ā€ he explains.

ProdigyAE Chief BIM Consultant and Principal Architect Gio Carino explains the benefits of sustainable building and how vital BIM is in the initiative. ā€œGreen design is about compliance to the philosophy of economical, social and ecological sustainability. BIM is an enabler of sustainable design,ā€ Carino explains.
