Manila, Philippines — October 28, 2014 — In a strong endorsement of the tremendous potential in the Philippines, Computrade Technology International (CTI Group), information technology infrastructure solutions provider, announced the opening of a subsidiary in the Philippines, Computrade Technology Philippines, Inc. (CTP) to support its growth in the Southeast Asia region. This new subsidiary is part of expansion plan that has led CTI to have local commercial presence in a rapidly growing Southeast Asia market.

CTP was established to support Filipino resellers to move up the business value chain. With the rising need and growth in Cloud, Analytics, Mobility and Social, CTP has visions and initiatives to support its resellers towards sustainable business models.

CTP’s ongoing efforts include the provision of end-to-end support structure, which includes enablement-ranging pre and post sales support, implementation services, trainings and joint efforts for market development and push programs.

CTP has strengthened brand awareness in Philippines and has progressively expanded its portfolio of products and services aimed at enterprise and small-medium businesses. To date, CTP was appointed as value-added distributor of Thales, FireEye, Zscaler, Riverbed, and Dell.

Philippines’ computer hardware sale is estimated to be PHP99.1billion in 2014 growing at 8.1% from PHP91.7 billion in 2013. Software sales to be PHP27.0 billion this year, growing 12.2% from PHP24.1 billion in 2013, while IT services sales to be PHP55.6 billion in 2014, growing 15.4% from PHP48.2 billion in 2013.[1]
