Monde Nissin Corporation marks first in-country Backup Recovery System installation

Food manufacturing conglomerate Monde Nissin Corporation recently tapped EMC Philippines for its backup solution that would centralize its data on iSeries and Open Systems Data into a single backup platform, enabling the company to automate its disaster recovery process.

Together with implementation partner Fritz & Macziol Asia Inc., this marked the first in-country Backup Recovery System (BRS) installation for EMC DataDomain on iSeries, providing Monde Nissin a more consolidated solution that enhances faster backup and restore time; lower TCO compared to tape; and more importantly, faster return on investment on disk-based backup solution.
