Tellabs, a leading vendor of optical networking solutions, and MEC Networks Corporation, the expert Philippine’s ICT Distributor, have signed an agreement for the resale of Tellabs® Optical LAN solution in the Philippines market.

Under the agreement, MECwill be an authorized channel partner within the Tellabs PartnerPlus Program for the Optical LAN solution, and will provide sales, system integration and maintenance support throughout Philippines.

“Our agreement with MEC will help Tellabs provide the advantages of Optical LAN to a new set of customers in Philippines.” says Dion Asencio, country manager of Philippines. “While Tellabs is an established vendor in the Philippines telecom industry, we are looking to extend the benefits of Optical LAN to customers in enterprise vertical markets across all sectors.
